Hello and welcome to the first Mindenwood Moments blog post. I’ll be honest, it’s my first ever blog post of any kind so here goes.

I’m Lisa, founder and owner of Mindenwood Floral Design based in rural County Durham.

What started as a creative outlet quickly became a business as I discovered how amazing floral design, especially weddings can be. That’s not to say it isn’t hard work, it is but so rewarding. I love it!

In Mindenwood Moments, I’ll be sharing my thoughts, insights and answering questions on life at Mindenwood HQ and the fabulous world of floral design.

Topics will include a day in the life at Mindenwood, who and what inspires me, seasonality, sustainability, favourite flower varieties and real weddings.

If there is anything you’d like know, send me a message.

I hope it’s a source of inspiration, information or even just an escape for a few moments.

I’ll let you know when I’ve posted something new so it’s a good idea to join me on Instagram too.

As it’s December, I’m going to keep this post short. I really did just want to ‘break the ice’, and I’m sure it’s a busy time for everyone wherever you are.
